T-Shirt Exchange Programme

At Meta4 Dance we never expect you to buy uniform for our classes, but we also recognise the sense of belonging that comes with sharing a company shirt with friends and peers. We want all our dancers to feel they are part of Meta4 and show that off!

We also understand that children grow (quickly) and buying a new t-shirt every 6-12 months as they grow isn’t financially or economically sensible. With our system, you won't need to keep shelling out for new t-shirts every time they outgrow their old ones.

We are proposing a t-shirt exchange programme starting this term for all students. This leaflet should help explain the system, but as always it is new and growing so we welcome any feedback to improve it and make it work for us all.

4 Step Process

Initial purchase

T-shirt selection: Students can choose from a variety of t-shirt sizes, this will be ordered and provided to the student. Along with a unique code for that t-shirt. Students will purchase the t-shirt full price + £5 to contribute to the exchange system.

T-shirt use

Wearing and maintenance: Students wear their purchased t-shirts during dance classes. During their ownership the t-shirt should be kept well laundered and in good condition.

Exchange process

Condition check: Inspect returned t-shirts for damage, excessive wear, or stains. T-shirts in good condition are eligible for a free exchange.

T-shirt disposal/ownership

Ownership option: Students who have stopped growing and are content with their t-shirt's size can choose to keep their t-shirt permanently without participating in future exchanges.

Size check and exchange intervals: At the end of each term we will do a size check. Students will try on their t-shirts, and if they've outgrown them, they can choose to exchange for a new size for free.

Donation option: If a student leaves the class and doesn't want to keep the t-shirt, they can choose to donate it back to the dance class. These donated t-shirts can be used for future new students or charitable purposes.

T-shirt Condition Checks

Grade A - Excellent

T-shirts in excellent condition are almost like new. They show minimal signs of wear.

Grade B - Good

T-shirts in good condition have been worn and might show some signs of wear: slight fading due to washing and wear.

Grade C - Fair

T-shirts in fair condition are visibly worn and might have noticeable signs of wear and tear: noticeable fading and wear, especially around seams and edges.

Grade D - Poor *

T-shirts in poor condition are significantly worn and might have visible damage: significant fading and wear throughout.

*T-shirts that fall below the "Poor" grade may not be eligible for exchange and might need to be replaced.
